Hi, I’m Amy B. Woodman (she/they). I design programs and experiences that help people learn through making. I believe in using technology to shape tools, experiences, and curricula that make learning more human, more joyful, and more equitable. Above all, I’m an educator dedicated to expanding access to creative computing in schools and communities.

My Work

I create learning tools that make code feel like a creative act. With a background in computer science education and community-based design, I specialize in projects that merge technical skill with cultural relevance.

My professional experiences have spanned from starting non-profits, shaping local education policy, building learn-to-code products, classroom teaching, training teachers, and executing nationally-renowned curriculum that has reached millions of users worldwide. But I’ll be the first to tell you: everything I knows started as “Ms. B”, a classroom teacher.
